Following are the recommended requirements to view a Webcast:  


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Laptop or Desktop
  2. Windows Media Player 11
  3. Internet Explorer - version 6 or version 7 (DO NOT USE MOZILLA FIREFOX, GOOGLE CHROME)
  4. No Popup blockers on the machine
  5. Shared broadband wired internet connections of speed 512 Kbps (100 Kbps minimum)
  6. Speakers
SOURCES OF INTERNET:
  1. Wired connection of 512 Kbps speed dedicated / shared (100 Kbps minimum)
  2. WIFI connection if wired is not available
5 SIMPLE STEPS FOR VIEWING LIVE WEBCAST:
  1. Screen Resolution: 1024 X 768 pixels.(To increase the screen area, go to desktop, right click, properties, then settings, under the screen area, change the resolution to 1024 X 768 pixels)
  2. Connect the laptop / desktop with the internet connection
  3. Click on the link for the Webcast
  4. Connect the speakers to laptop / desktop to hear the audio
  5. DO NOT MAKE THE VIDEO FULL SCREEN, AS THE POWERPOINT PRESENTATION WILL APPEAR ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE AND THE VIDEO ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE
SOME IMPORTANT POINTERS:
  1. If the video freezes or gets stuck during the session then just press F5 on the laptop to refresh the video & wait for some time
  2. If after pressing F5, the video does not come through, then the problem would be with the internet connection & hence you need to use the backup internet connection
